Our final resource for this week’s theme of preventing domestic violence at work is from the Safe at Work Coalition. In addition to advice on writing a policy, the website has resources such as a risk assessment checklist, information on US state and federal legislation and advice on employee training. The entire website can be conveniently downloaded as a 56 page pdf file for easy reference.

Domestic violence can have tragic consequences on everyone in the workplace. Incorporating domestic violence into your workplace violence prevention program is an effective method of ensuring this important issue does not go overlooked in your organization.
