Preventing Workplace Violence – Towards Safer and Healthier Workplaces

Dr. E. Kevin Kelloway, Professor of Management at Saint Mary’s University, was the keynote speaker at a 2-day conference in Vancouver entitled; Preventing Workplace Violence Towards Safer and Healthier Workplaces. The conference, coordinated by the Canadian Association of Administrators of Labour Legislation (CAALL), enabled legislators, regulators, workers’ compensation boards and safety associations to share strategies on best practices in dealing with workplace violence, review case studies and explore what various jurisdictions are doing in the areas of resources and education, operational approaches and social marketing.
