Preventing Violence at Work – 2008 Seminar Dates Announced

The WCB – Alberta offers a free, 3-hour seminar to employers who are seeking to develop a workplace violence prevention program.

The seminar, entitled; “Preventing Violence at Work” targets professionals from the fields of health & safety, human resources, security and management who are tasked with the responsibility of developing a workplace violence policy and program to address the risks associated with workplace violence.

Offered several times throughout the year at the WCB offices in Edmonton and Calgary, the seminar is also held at times in other Alberta regional centres and can also be delivered on-site for large employers. The seminar is not intended as awareness training for frontline employees.
