All submissions will be acknowledged on receipt. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within a week, please contact us, and we will verify if we have received your submission.

Abstracts must be submitted in English, and also the conference language will be English for all papers, posters, workshops or seminars.

The overall theme is “Together, Creating a Safe Work Environment”

Subthemes for submitting abstracts are:

- Nature, epidemiology, patterns and trends of workplace violence

- Economical aspects and implications of workplace violence

- Gender aspects and implications of workplace violence

- Political aspects and implications of workplace violence

- Legal and/or ethical aspects and implications for the employer and employee of workplace violence

- Cultural aspects and implications of workplace violence

- Scientific, methodological, operational aspects and instruments regarding workplace violence

- Policies & Operational Strategies regarding workplace violence: local, national, international and global guidelines, standards, reporting, prediction, risk assessment, prevention, management, after care and rehabilitation

- Staff training and education issues regarding workplace violence

- Social and psychological theoretical perspectives on workplace violence

The conference is organized by Oud Consultancy and is at this moment co-sponsored by the ICN, STTI, IHF, IPW-FHS, CONNECTING, DkIT, PSI & ILO.
