from CNW Group

TORONTO – Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) President Linda Haslam-Stroud, RN, will mark May Day 2008 by joining placard-waving front-line nurses and others calling for an end to workplace violence.

Haslam-Stroud will speak about a series of violent incidents in Ontario health-care facilities that threaten the health and safety of front-line nurses. She and ONA members will rally Queen’s Park.
