SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:
Bill 168 requires all Ontario employers to have a Violence Prevention Policy and Program. This half-day seminar will provide the information you need to understand and prepare for of the new legislation requiring employer action for the prevention and management of workplace violence and harassment. The seminar will also outline strategies for developing a successful workplace violence prevention program.

- An overview of the key requirements of Bill 168, An Act to amend the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Legal duties of employers, officers, directors, and supervisors to prevent and manage workplace violence.
- Worker training, reporting and discipline.
- Identifying and assessing workplace risks, including domestic violence.
