UK: National Safety Symposium – Delivering a knock-out blow to violence
from Safety and Health Practitioner magazine The British Crime Survey estimates that there were 397,000 threats of violence and 288,000 assaults by members of the public on UK workers in 2006/07, causing 6404 injuries that were reportable under RIDDOR.
