Media’s Terror Expert Lifrieri to Give Seminar

Big Media’s terror go-to man, Sal Lifrieri, brings smarts and experience to the world of security. Lifrieri, president of Protective Countermeasures and Consulting, Inc., and former Director of Security and Intelligence Operations for NYC’s Office of Emergency Management, will be giving a seminar on domestic violence and stalking in the workplace.

“We’ve had the 9/11 experience. We know the threat of terrorism is all too real. However, there are other threats we need to address. For example, domestic violence and stalking puts individuals into a private world of terror. The toll from this has significant impact in the workplace. According to the United States Department of Justice there are over 130,000 people who lose their jobs because of it. That’s why we are giving a seminar on the topic.” said Lifrieri

Previously, Lifrieri enjoyed a 20 year career with the New York City Police Department, rising to the coveted rank of Detective First Grade.

Among Lifrieri’s credits, during his tenure with the NYPD, are his selection to the Hostage Negotiation Team, participation in the department’s elite Intelligence Division, leading of the Russian Organized Crime Project and appointment as leader of the Protective Operations Unit – charged with conducting threat assessments and threat investigations on the mayor, key elected officials and their families.
